Do you have experience of working in a busy Finance function with a good eye for cash reconciliations?
We are currently working with a client based in Nuneaton to help them recruit an experienced Senior Sales and Banking Administrator. It’s a great role if you enjoy being kept busy at work.
As a Senior Sales & Banking Administrator:
You will be joining a team responsible for ensuring that our clients (multi-sited) revenue is recorded and reconciled in a timely manner, whilst providing meaningful reporting to the field and Senior Management teams. With a selection of your own allocated sites you will: -
- Conduct Daily bank reconciliations
- Allocate site cash and credit card takings
- Naturally you will investigate any queries relating to the above to a successful conclusion
- Weekly variance reporting
- Liaise directly with the operational teams to ensure all queries are resolves in a timely manner
- Support in the process of new site set ups
- Report and control of site petty cash
- Process journals
- Assist the head of department with Month end reconciliation and balance sheet accounting
- Be proactive in the ongoing improvement of processes and procedures
What our client is hoping to see:
To be considered for this opportunity you will need to have experience of working in a busy, high volume (Transactional) Finance function with a great eye for reconciliations and a passion to ensure financial figures balance. Training will be provided on the finance system, but strong Excel skills will come in handy for working with such high volumes of data. You will also need to have a strong aptitude for resolving queries through effective communication, often with non-finance colleagues. It can, at times be a pressured environment with deadlines and targets to achieve, so working under pressure is a given. Any experience of working in a Multi-Sited organisation would be highly advantageous.
