Payroll Manager, Solihull - £45,000 - £50,000 pa
As opportunities go, they don't get as exciting as this one. Our client is currently going through a transitional period, as a result of which are planning to more than double their turnover by the end of 2022. They now have an exciting opportunity for a committed and passionate professional to help steer the team through the journey ahead.
As Payroll Manager you will:
- Lead, motivate and inspire the team of payroll/accounting colleagues to ensure they deliver an efficient service to their internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure the payroll/financial KPI's are achieved in line with group expectations
- Assume full responsibility for the end to end payroll, invoicing and reporting
- Drive the development of processes and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency across all areas
- Act as an advisor to any external/internal parties on all matters relating to the payroll processes
- Oversee the transactional finance activities
- Ensure all the relevant compliance matters such as VAT, Corporation Tax are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner
- Support the Financial Controller in matters relating to the Audit process
What's required:
This is very much a leadership role where you will inspire and motivate those around you to deliver a first-class service to the wider business. Our client's environment can be quite a pressured environment at times with a great deal of focus on the need to hit deadlines, whilst delivering nothing but outstanding service to their customers. If you're resourceful, passionate, driven and able to think outside the box to see the bigger picture...you'll do well here. Previous payroll management experience (ideally International/Global) is essential.
