We are currently working with an independently owned Warwick client who has been successfully servicing their clients for over 35 years now. They have consistently achieved year on year sales growth and continued to return a healthy profit in doing so. Servicing a variety of different clients across varying sectors they have a great reputation for delivering great service. They are now seeking an experienced Payroll Co-Ordinator to join a busy and complexed payroll ledger. As a Payroll Co-Ordinator your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing complex Monthly and Weekly payrolls using Sage payroll systems (1000+ employees)
  • Processing all P45, P46, SSP, SMP and AOE
  • Dealing with any queries from employees through to a successful resolution in a timely fashion
  • Assist the Payroll Manager with any requests for information from outside organisations such as HMRC, Benefits Agency and Financial Establishments
  • Assist with period and Year-End reporting
  • Timely payment of PAYE/NI, pension and Medical insurance schemes
  • Assist with compliance matters regarding statutory reporting
  • Assist with the processing of staff appointments, transfers, promotions and terminations
  • Ensure all payroll records are maintained in line with legal and company policy
  • Administrate any benefit plans as appropriate
  • Ad hoc support to the Payroll Manager

We are looking for a Payroll Co-Ordinator who has the following skills and experiences:

  • Experience of working with a high volume, ideally multi-site Weekly and Monthly payroll ledger
  • Previous knowledge of "spreadover" salary payments would be highly advantageous
  • Previous experience of auto-enrolment and local government pensions
  • Knowledge of payroll calculations and processing
  • Up to date knowledge of HMRC and Govt legislation
  • A passion for delivering "excellent service" to your internal colleagues

The working hours will be 8.30 - 5.00 pm.
