Management Accountant – Nuneaton
£32,000 - £35,000 pa + Pension + Healthcare + Profit Share
Bespoke Recruitment is keen to speak with any experienced Management Accountants for an opportunity that has arisen within our clients Nuneaton HQ. Our client has been successfully supplying their customers with high tech precision equipment for over 50 years now and has a continual commitment to providing excellence in both products and the service they offer. Offering a base salary of £28,000 – 35,000 and an attractive range of benefits that include a company contributory pension, Healthcare and a profit share scheme.
As Management Accountant your responsibilities will include:
- Production of Monthly Management Accounts including the distribution of KPI reports to the appropriate stakeholders
- Preparation of monthly financial statements, inclusive of journal entries, accruals & Prepayments
- Review and sign-off monthly bank reconciliations
- Credit Card expense reviews
- Processing Customer & Supplier account applications
- Maintain Fixed Asset Register and depreciation calculations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Stock valuation and analysis, including annual stock take
- Credit control for assigned accounts
- Preparation of VAT returns, EC Sales List, Intrastat and ONS submissions.
- Support the Finance Manager with the budgeting process.
- Budget to Actual variance analysis
- Tax analysis reporting in relation to Corporation Tax return
- Assist with year-end audit.
- Reconciliation and recharge EMEA expenses.
- Preparation of information to complete P11D’s
- Monthly supplier payment run review and sign-off
- Prepare or review special pricing and quotations, including supplier and sales price uploads to Global
- Cross-training with other members of the finance team
- Assist with ad-hoc finance projects
To be considered for this Management Accounting role you will need:
- A minimum of AAT qualified, ideally working towards your CIMA/ACCA
- Strong Excel Skills (Pivots, Lookups and Graphs)
- A great eye for detail and exceptional communication skills
- To be meticulously organised and process driven
- Able to work at times under your own supervision but always be willing to support and share your expertise with your peers
