Company Accountant, Nuneaton
£24,000 - £30,000pa
We are currently supporting a local client in their search to appoint an experienced Accounting professional to a newly created, stand-alone position of Company Accountant. Supporting the Healthcare sector our client is very service orientated and as such are looking to appoint someone who shares their passion for high levels of customer service.
As the company Accountant, you will ensure that the organisation's financial data and Monthly Management information is maintained in a timely and accurate manner. Your remit will include, but by no means be limited to:
- Upkeep of the day to day book-keeping on the in-house Xero Accounting system
- Production of Monthly Management Accounts including P & L and Balance Sheet for presentation to the board
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of Budgets and Cashflow
- All aspects of transactional finance (Sales, Purchase Ledger and Credit Control)
- Bank Reconciliations
- Processing of timesheet and expense to produce payroll information
To be considered, our client is looking for you to have the following skills –
- Ideally, AAT qualified or working towards a qualification such as ACCA or CIMA
- Previous demonstrable experience of producing management accounts and financial reporting
- Ideally a strong working knowledge of Xero, Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll systems
- Highly self-motivated to be able to drive your performance to hit deadlines
Our client is offering a base salary of £25,000 - £30,000, 20 days holiday (+ Bank holidays), rising to 21 after probation and work between the hours of 9.00 am – 5.00 pm.
