It’s been quite a couple of years for our client. As an Assistant Accountant you will:
Be joining an established team of finance colleagues who have full responsibility for the delivery of financial information for the business. Typically, your responsibilities will include:
- Run monthly management account reports including an initial review of headline details to check for accuracy
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure the ledgers and month-end routines are completed in an accurate and timely manner, thus ensuring the management accounting deadline are achieved
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budgets and year-end forecasting
- Assist with the preparation of the external audit pack (Statutory)
- Preparation and analysis of cash flow
- Support the ongoing development of the new ERP/IT systems

- Assist with journal, accruals and prepayments
- Assist the team with financial reporting

Although if you have chosen not to study but have the experience, then you are encouraged to apply too.
Any experience of Microsoft Business Central would be highly advantageous, you’ll also need to be comfortable on other MS packages such as Word, Outlook, Excel (Pivot/Lookup ability)

This is a great role if you are looking for an opportunity to work on a broad range of finance/accounting activities. An environment where you are encouraged to adopt responsibility and ownership of your tasks but not adverse to helping others at appropriate times. Respectfully, our clients' environment is not a large corporate one, where you will be able to attain a promotion in 12 months.
