Your role as Accounts Receivable Assistant will include:

Working under the supervision of an experienced Finance Manager your key focus will be to offer support to the Client Service and Finance functions. Supporting a growing client base and ensuring that all services are delivered in a smooth, efficient manner whilst continue to promote a first-class service every time. You will work in collaboration with your colleagues to achieve business success, typically your tasks will include:-

  • Chasing debtors to ensure that all payments are received in a prompt and timely manner.
  • Creation of Sales Invoices for distribution to clients including ensuring the correct authorisation is granted.
  • Respond to all customer queries to ensure resolutions are reached and any disputes cleared to successful closure.
  • Reconciliation of deposits including the provision of reports to refund client deposits where applicable.
  • Assist the Finance team with Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
  • Support the finance team with periodic reporting Deal with any queries from customers and suppliers.
  • Support the Finance Manager with various internal/external audit tasks.
  • Complete any ad-hoc/project tasks assigned by the Finance Manager.

Key attributes our client is looking for in you:

You will be an experienced Accounts Receivable professional with a proven track record in building strong relationships with clients. Your ability to focus on the detail, retain 100% accuracy whilst working to strict deadlines will be put to great use. As with any AR position, you’ll be juggling multiple priorities at once, being able to prioritise the most important task will be a challenge you’ll face every day. Other attributes our client will be looking to see include:

  • A high level of self-motivation with a positive and proactive approach.
  • Detailed orientated with strong analytical, written and oral communication skills
  • A passion for detail, the ability to deliver accuracy and quality in all tasks.
  • Strong Excel ability.
