It’s been quite a couple of years for our client. As an Accounts Assistant you will:
Be joining an established team of finance colleagues who have full responsibility for the delivery of financial information for the business. Reporting directly to the Team Leader you’ll be joining a small finance function, working with 3 team colleagues who collectively assume responsibility for ensuring the organisations’ transactional finance activities (AP & AR) are conducted in a timely and accurate manner.
Typically, your responsibilities will include:

What’s required:
You’ll already have worked in a similar role and have some experience of a busy transactional finance function. The role would be ideally suited to someone who is currently engaged in the AAT (or equivalent) qualification. Any experience of Microsoft Business Central would be highly advantageous, you’ll also need to be comfortable on other MS packages such as Word, Outlook, Excel (Pivot/Lookup ability)
Package and benefits on offer
Our client is offering a salary of £21,000 - £23,500 pa plus a range of attractive benefits that include Contributory Pension, healthcare, hybrid working schedule, 28 days holiday (+ bank holidays).
This is a great role if you are looking for an opportunity to work on a broad range of finance/accounting activities. An environment where you are encouraged to adopt responsibility and ownership of your tasks but not adverse to helping others at appropriate times. Respectfully, our clients' environment is not a large corporate one, where you will be able to attain a promotion in 12 months.
